Tracy joined our team in 2017 as a part-time receptionist, but has now joined Ashley as one of our RVTs. She graduated from the Animal Health Technology Program at Lakeland College in 2002 and was an AHT for 6 years before staying home to raise her family. In her free time Tracy enjoys reading and drawing with her girls. Growing up she had Standard Poodles and now shares her love with Nelly, a Corgi cross.
Ashley joined us in June 2018 coming from another small animal hospital. She graduated from Lakeland College from the Animal Health Technology course in 2014 and has been working in Edmonton ever since. In her free time Ashley enjoys watching horror movies, being active and hanging out with her friends. She lives outside of Bon Accord with her boyfriend and has no pets at home, for now.
Marissa graduated from NAIT in 2010 and then began working at the Blue Cross Animal Hospital. After a few years, she decided to try working in an exotics practice and then moved to Victoria, BC to pursue a degree in Child and Youth Care. Marissa has now moved back and loves working at the Blue Cross where she began her RVT career. She is still working on her degree and hopes to merge her love for animals with her love of helping others in Animal Assisted Therapy. Outside of work, Marissa loves hiking, crocheting, and spending time with loved ones. She lives with her partner, their three cats, and two chinchillas.
Alexis joined our team in June 2019 as a receptionist. She completed the Veterinary Medical Assistant program at NAIT and graduated with honours in May 2019. Alex enjoys visiting new places, trying out new restaurants and binge watching shows with her girlfriend. They have 3 cats that they call their children, a sweet and handsome blue cat named Loki, a round and fluffy Himalayan named Mati, and a chunky orange tabby princess name Dani.
